Madagascar is unique

In no country in the world who gather in a small space for different regions and landscapes. Ranging from dense rain forests and cloud forests in the East, rice terraces and strange mountain ranges in the highlands, prehistoric-looking spiny forests in the south, baobab tree-lined avenues in the west to the beautiful sandy beaches in the coast - the island paradises before age and coral reefs in the turquoise Indian Ocean, one of the divers and underwater divers wonderful world.

Thanks to the geographic features of Madagascar, is now a national monument. 80% of all plants are endemic, ie found only in Madagascar. The same is true for animals, especially lemurs, indri, and lemurs. Lemurs cute with the long tail and thick fur golden-brown, white or black have been the favorite of all tourists.
Travelling in Madagascar is still something for the adventurer. Most roads are bad, hotels often do not meet the European standard. And it takes time. The advantage: no mass tourism. Heading to meet like-minded people are usually very interested in the country, not just sun and sand.

You are rewarded by the proverbial kindness of the Malagasy. The people are very hospitable, despite poverty, despite the arbitrariness of the Europeans during the French colonial rule. Madagascar is in the top ten poorest countries in the world. In the capital, Antananarivo found misery at every step.
